Ouch.
Today, someone got fired. Ouch. I was down at the production line doing some calibration work, when I saw the person being called to the office. The fella had only just been working for 2 weeks or so. Still on probation. And you can't really get fired during probation unless you did something really stupid.
Since the administration are very, very nice and kind people, I figured it must be something really bad. Didn't wanna kaypoh and ask why. Maybe I'll ask the secretary tomorrow what happened. -_-
I hope I don't do anything stupid to get myself fired just like that. I actually like going to the office everyday. It beats staying at home with nothing to do. And the best part is, we get paid! =D I have always hated studying. But, I don't have to say much because my results pretty much speaks for themselves. My uni transcript really OD-ed with a bunch of C's. -_-
Work is actually kinda fun (especially for the car fanatics).The people are nice, Occasionally,we get fed (and fat). (Bak Kut Teh woo hooo) The only crappy part is the never ending workload. Like, seriously, a little help here, people. -_- I was kinda happy when I was down to like...2 more projects.
Seriously the he last time I only had 2 projects was when I was only 2 weeks into my job. So I went down to go walkabout in the production line to get some stuff done. When I came back, I saw more paperwork on my table. HOORAY. MORE WORK. -_-
The in-tray is pretty much useless to me, so I wrote huge ass numbers on A3 papers and taped them to my workstation. So any incoming projects can be dumped on the respective numbers like this.
So, four wasn't enough. It soon became 5, 6, 7 and in the end I just gave up. I just stacked them up on each other. It reached up to 9 I think -_- One time I just emo-ed and don't feel like doing it anymore. Just sulked there for about 20minutes before I realised I have to do it or else the stack will just keep on piling up and I'll get a major screwing from the boss.
So, the zombie-fied days are officially over. The last game of the season was played last weekend. One more match to go, and we're done for 2008/2009.
The UEFA Champions League Final is tomorrow, and then it's a 3 month hiatus where football fans of all clubs all around the world get along for...well...3 months. After that, all hell breaks loose again.
The weird thing is, Manutd and Liverpool are the fiercest rivals. And yet, many of my close friends are Liverpool fans. Zhou, hardcore fan of errr..10 years? Phang, well, he has now pretty much given up on Rafa. James, who says he will quit watching football if ever Steven Jialat quits Liverpool (which will never happen), and finally, nowadays I'm addicted to chatting with a girl who supports Liverpool. Oh no.
Anyway, watch this. This random dude (well, not exactly random) gets to go 1v1 with Chae Yeon on a game show. The game is called 'Of Course'. It's like coming up with pick up lines, and seeing whether it gets countered or not.
If it was me, even talking to someone like that will make me stutter and become a nervous wreck. It's like, I were to meet like..say..Boa in real life, my brain probably shut down and nothing would come out of my mouth other than 'er. ah. oo. eh. ok bye.'

He is damn pro. This video proves it. He has got waaaaaay better lines in this one, but Chae Yeon is ftw. Park Shi Yeon just couldn't handle his lines. But seriously he can think of such lines. I need to learn that 'skill' toooooo.

If you need help (like me) talking to extremely beautiful women, watch this. HOW ON EARTH did this dude managed to keep a straight face coming up with those pickup lines from the top of his head while staring straight into Chae Yeon's eyes and is SOOO calm all that time is really beyond me. I do not understand. -_- I SO need to learn from this dude.
But in the end, he gets rejected (for the 2nd time). POOR GUY. full marks for effort though.
I like the part where he says 'If you have to do bad things in this lifetime, give me a call. I'll gladly do them for you. That's because I'll gladly go to Hell for you. You just return to your Heaven'. HAHA. pawnzorr.
He goes up against Bae Seul Ki too. Just search around for 'related searches'. OR just search for 'Chae Yeon in Of Course' or whatever. =P Man, I would kill to have his 'powers'. But then again, of course, he's very good looking so that really helped with the confidence -_- Pfft.
