As of today, I finally finished my FIRST project. My first project was the design drawings for the suspension parts for the Nissan Latio. My boss told me 'Congratulations. You can finally frame up your designs now and look back on this 10 years later' -__-

Maybe as a tribute, I shall go get the Nissan Latio as my next car. HAHA.

Now here comes the funny part. I have finished the designs, yet I have NEVER seen a Nissan Latio before in my entire life. When I told my mom about it, even she knows what a Nissan Latio looks like. So instantly I googled, and this is the most yeng photo of the Nissan Latio there =P


Before I started work, I couldn't tell apart car parts for nuts. After 2 months of working, I can almost identify all parts in a car now. I have seen most imports after going to workshops, and being told 'I'm sure one day you dream of having your very own modded car.'

I remember my first week at work. My boss will ask me 'Do you know what this is?'. And 95% of the time..my answer is 'no'. -__- LOL. I don't even know how i managed to survive 2 months, but I managed to finish my FIRST ever project. Although it's just a small one, and there are tonnes of mistakes which my boss pointed out that I have to correct.

Being a hardcore football fan, I could tell not only my own team's first 11, I could even tell every other team's first team, and the players nationality, and (almost) possibly their age! I was never much into motorsports/automotive.

My old mindset was..'Well, a car's a car. As long as it serves its purpose of bringing me around, it's all good.' Now after seeing cars being torn apart, and parts being fitted in piece by piece from a bare shell/chassis, it's kinda cool actually to be able to drive around something well.. nice. But not that I can afford any at the moment though. LOL. Maybe in 10 years time =)

Today I learnt that the Toyota Celica is a woman's car. -_- It's something like strawberry vodka is a woman's drink. Drink it, and u're a wuss. Oh no. The Celica is pronounced as 'Silly Car'. LOL. But, I must say, a Celica is a pretty goddamn freaking nice car. Like strawberry vodka is actually a nice drink. HAHA. Serious -_-

The reasoning is pretty much the same. The reason why it's a 'woman's car' is coz it's underpowered compared to let's say, a Porshe Daur, much like how strawberry vodka is underpowered compared to errr..whiskey.

And I'm also starting to notice if a car on the road if it has been modded or not. Obvious modding of course. My boss can tell even if they mod the tail lights or tyres -__-

Now, I need a new mouse. My mouse kon-dem-ed at work today. Instantly PMS at me for no reason. Aih.
