"Balut" is a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. Very common to see in filipino houses. Balut. Enough said, yo. But hey, it's good for you =p (Apparently)

According to Wikipedia, all of it is consumed. I personally want to vomit when I see it.

I hardly like fried omelettes. And hard boiled eggs gross me out. I DEFINITELY can't handle that.
